Arkoma is a town in Le Flore County, Oklahoma, United States. It is part of the Fort Smith Arkansas-Oklahoma Statistical Area. The population was 2,180 at the 2000 census. The name of the town, an example of a portmanteau, comes from its location near the state line dividing Arkansas and Oklahoma.
